Job Description

We are working on behalf of a school who are looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children with complex needs. The school caters for children with moderate to severe physical and cognitive learning difficulties and has a passionate and committed leadership team. The role is to start in March 2025 and will run till Easter and possibly beyond.
The school are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about working with children with physical difficulties and/or complex needs
• Has recent experience working in this area that can be referenced
• Ideally, have qualifications/training in areas such as manual handling/hoist use/feeding/personal care/PECS Makaton/Team Teach
• The school would welcome people from a mainstream background who feel they have the relevant experience above

Hays Education should be able to obtain recent references that back up experience as part of their clearance process.
