Job Title: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Norwich
Rate: 350/day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 18 months
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to oversee drainage works on a dual carriageway project. The role involves setting out, quality control, and liaising with site teams to ensure accurate installation of drainage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out drainage works (manholes, pipes, gullies, outfalls) using GPS & total stations
• Ensuring work meets design specifications & tolerances
• Liaising with subcontractors & resolving technical issues
• Maintaining site records & producing as-built drawings
• Adhering to HSE regulations & quality standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years as a Setting Out Engineer (highways/drainage)
• HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD, GPS, total stations, laser levels
• CSCS card (SSSTS/SMSTS desirable)
• Full UK driving license
