SEN Teacher - Tower Hamlets - September Start

Location: Tower Hamlets (Nearest Station: Stepney Green)

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (£41,150 to £58,185)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2025

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team in September. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher or a primary teacher with a passion for special educational needs to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:

Plan and deliver individualised lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEND

Use a range of differentiated teaching strategies to engage and support learning

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, and external professionals

Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to ensure positive learning outcomes

Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environmentRequirements for an SEN Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching students with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other needs)

A strong understanding of EHCPs, behaviour strategies, and adaptive teaching

Passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learners
