Senior Salmon are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our clients team in the Gainsborough area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including stock management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes within a cold store environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Comfortable working within a cold store environment.

• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.

• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for.

• Engage in picking and packing orders for dispatch.

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, applying mechanical knowledge where necessary.

• Build pallets and prepare goods for shipment or storage.

• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.

Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.

• Experience with picking and packing procedures is beneficial.

• Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is an asset.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Working hours -

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm

Pay rate - £12.00ph, temp to perm
