Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant

Location: North East England

Rate: £250.00 - £300.00 per day

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable college in the North East of England, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an educational environment committed to ensuring compliance across their premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the educational setting.

Provide training and support to staff and students on health and safety practices.

Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2+ years of specific experience within an educational environment.

Relevant qualifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
