M&E Construction Manager

Oxford

£300 per day outside IR35

Know your way around M&E installs and retrofits? Like being at the top of the chain working for the principle contractor? Looking for an interesting, local project to take you through the summer?

This contract has all that and more…

You'll be working on a number of public sector sites in Oxford for a principle contractor who's increasing energy efficiency across the estate. You'll be overseeing your subcontractors installing and retrofitting air source or ground source heat pumps, IR heaters, LED and solar PVs etc.

This project is expected to last 6 months.

The project is currently at construction phase but the PC needs someone with strong verbal and written communication skills to manage all parties and their expectations.

To be able to hit the ground running you'll a background overseeing the install of M&E kit into commercial buildings. If those sites were public sector that's a bonus.

As you'll be supervising a working construction site you will need a First Aid at Work certification.

We're looking for someone based in the local area for this contract - lodging and/or travel to site won't be paid.
