Quantity Surveyor – Long-Term Contract – Tier 1 Contractor – Bournemouth

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious Tier 1 contractor on a long-term contract basis for a major M&E hospital project in Bournemouth. Role Details:

Contract Length: 12-24 months

*

Location: Hybrid – 3 days on-site in Bournemouth, 2 days from home

*

Occasional travel to head office in Oxfordshire

Key Responsibilities:

*

Overseeing cost management, procurement, and contract administration for the M&E aspects of the project

*

Conducting valuations, cost reporting, and financial forecasting

*

Managing subcontractor accounts and supplier negotiations

*

Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial obligations

*

Collaborating closely with the commercial and project teams to deliver on budget and within scope

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the M&E or construction sector

*

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and cost management principles

*

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

*

Ability to work independently and within a team in a hybrid working environment

*

Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
