Contract Locum Educational Psychologists

In this pivotal role, you will be working closely with children and families, applying your skills to support their educational needs and emotional well-being. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and diagnosing educational difficulties, developing tailored interventions, and providing consultation to schools and other professionals involved in the care of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to understand children s needs.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with educational staff and parents.
• Provide training and support to school staff and other professionals.
• Work closely with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to create a holistic support plan.
• Maintain accurate records and report on the progress and outcomes of interventions.

Ideal Candidate:

The right candidate will have a proven track record as an Educational Psychologist, with a strong focus on children and families. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families. A sound understanding of educational policies and practices will be fundamental to your success in this role.
