Job Description

Are you a Registered Manager who wants to see every child reach their full potential. We have partnered with an organisation seeking a Registered Manager for their children's home in Biggleswade, providing care and support to children and young people between 8-17 years with disabilities (autism, learning difficulties and associated complex needs).

This is an interim role for 16 weeks whilst recruiting, however, this could be made permanent for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

• Min of 1 year experience in the past 5 years in a relevant setting to the residential care of children (children and/or disabilities, preferably both)
• Min 2 years experience in a management position including management and supervision of staff
• Willingness to register with Ofsted as the manager of the home, including the necessary processes to achieve this

Desirable:

• Background in leadership and management of residential care for children with disabilities, preferably as a registered manager.?
• Level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential care or equivalent. If not held, Willingness to complete this.?
• Good working knowledge of the SCCIF and the children's homes regulations?
• Experience of Ofsted Inspections

SALARY & ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Pay rate: 34.05 (umbrella rate) - negotiable
• Hours per week: 37
• Duration: 16 weeks
