Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our St Helens secondary schools who are looking for a Teacher of Art. The school would prefer the successful applicant to have 6th Form teaching experience. The role is to start on the 6th March until the end of term (July 2025). This temporary role is full time and will pay up to 223.62 per day, depending on experience. Our client school are looking for a Teacher of Art who possesses excellent GCSE and A-Level subject knowledge.

The role:

• Temporary Teacher of Art to GCSE
• Temporary Teacher of Art to teach A-Level classes preferred

6th March 2025 start

18th July 2025 finish

• Full time position
• Excellent Art and Design subject knowledge is essential.

The school:

• St Helens local authority
• Ofsted rating 'Good' school
• Over 300 pupils on roll in the sixth form (1500+ students in the school)
• 11-18 school

The essentials:

• QTS or equivalent
• Teacher of GCSE Art with experience teaching to A-Level
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete 10-year career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
