Job: Recreational Therapist Required: 1 Year recent experience, CA license, BLS Note- Those who are willing to relocate or can work on site only apply Duration: 23 weeks with possible extend Schedule: Day shift Job Description: a. Develop and implement specialized recreation therapy services to Patient and/or DJJ Youth. Such therapeutic interventions are designed to promote social interaction, to encourage beneficial and appropriate utilization of leisure time, and to provide Patient-and/or DJJ Youth with preparation fo reentry into general population or other levels of treatment. b. Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and coordinate services with primary clinicians, correctional counselors and other custody personnel.
