Job Advert: Contract Electrical Fitter (Shotton, Papermill)

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Electrical Fitter for a prominent position at a large Papermill in Shotton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team working on essential electrical systems.

Location: Shotton, Papermill
Contract Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Competitive, based on experience

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the papermill.
• Work on both HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) switchgear.
• Ensure electrical systems are operating to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and issues promptly.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

• Proven experience working with HV and LV switchgear.
• Qualified Electrical Fitter with relevant industry certifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector (ideally papermills or similar).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
