Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and load/unload materials within the warehouse.

Location: Shefford

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm - 10pm rotating shifts

Contract: Full time, temporary (6 months)

Duties

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Assist in materials handling, ensuring that items are stored correctly and accessible.
• Picking and packing items and materials
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving of products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification is essential (counterbalance).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
