Job Title: KS1 Primary Teacher

Location : Belper, Derbyshire

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £150 - £212 per day

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a thriving and aspirational infants school based in Derbyshire (DE56). The school is looking to take on a part-time supply teacher who is confident and engaging. The successful applicant will have knowledge of Key Stage 1 / KS1 and experience working in primary schools and supporting a diverse group of pupils.

The successful applicant will need to meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development. The work will be preplanned so the teacher must be able to pick up on things quickly and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECT s are also welcome)
• Experience teaching children in KS1
• Excellent ICT skills
• First Aid Qualification (preferred)
• Being able to work under pressure
• Organisational skills and engaging lesson plans
• Experience with SEND children
• Fantastic knowledge of the National Curriculum
