Accounts Assistant

A global hospitality group is looking for an Accounts Assistant to come in on a temp to perm assignment

Your new company

This global hospitality company is looking for a dedicated bookkeeper to manage Level 1 support within our finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

Posting invoices at the project level

Raising sales invoices for various projects

Administering payment runs

Handling administrative tasks within the finance department

Implementing process improvements

(Preferred) Preparing VAT returns for review

What you'll need to succeed

Proficiency in Xero and the ability to use technology to streamline processes (e.g., Hubdoc, Dext, AutoEntry)

A solid understanding of the importance of Level 1 support in a finance function and the ability to manage it effectively

Detail-oriented and tech-savvy

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to the finance team and the wider business while managing expectations within the service commitments
