Minibus Driver - Northampton based Education Establishment

Enhanced DBS Required

Fixed Term Contract to 20th June 2025 then Permanent from Sept weeks per year

15 hours per week Monday to Friday (Apply online only) then (Apply online only)

11.59 per hour

Closing Date 7th March 2025

We are working with a well known education establishment in Northampton and are currently recruiting for a Minibus Driver to transport students and staff between the college campuses. To be considered for this role you will have a full clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement. The role will involve the following

• Providing routine transportation of students and staff between college sites at the end of the day
• To efficiently and safely collect and transport students and staff on routes required.
• To carry out vehicle checks everyday to ensure the safety of the vehicle and report any defects to the transport coordinator
• Check the validity of student and staff bus passes

The ideal person will have the following experience and attributes

• Have a clean driving licence with D1 entitlement and will have ideally driven minibuses or coaches
• Experience of working with children, young or vulnerable adults
• A caring but confident, considerate and helpful personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• To be able to protect and safeguard the students
• Have an enhanced DBS
