Foreman (Civils)

Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting several Foremen for an established Scottish civil engineering contractor. Our client has been in operation for over 30 years

They are looking to add several Foremen to help deliver key projects across various locations. You must have a strong civil engineering background with knowledge of groundworks and general earthworks.

• Locations will include Falkirk, Fife and Edinburgh.
• Start Dates will stagger across March
• Durations will vary depending on the project details can be provided.

The Job

As Civils Foreman you will be responsible for the following:

• Liaising with the Site Agent, reporting on quality, efficiency & health & safety.
• Carrying out RAMS, toolbox talks and staff briefings.
• Upskilling existing members of staff and being involved in recruitment of new staff
• Completing paperwork
• Supervision of site labour
• Ordering materials
• Managing daily site operations

The Candidate

The Successful Foreman will have:

• Significant civils experience
• On site delivery experience either as ganger or foreman.
• A full UK Driving licence.
• SSSTS or SMSTS

You will be:

• An excellent communicator
• Well organised and focussed on meeting client expectations
