Civil Engineering Assessor

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Civil Engineering Assessor(skills coach) to work at a College in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting likely until the end of the academic year. This will be a part time vacancy (22.5 hours per week), and is a temporary position. The cover is to cover a permanent vacancy, so if the candidate performs well and enjoys the role, this position could go permanent. Payment for this position will be between 20 and 40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve teaching and assessing Civil Engineering skills to apprentices, and will involve liaising with employers premises to ensure that correct learning is occurring. You will maintain a caseload of apprentices using online portfolio systems, and ultimately aim to help students pass with distinction. We are looking for a candidate that has an assessors qualification and has relevant industry based experience to Level 3 or above.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from almost all parts of Hull via Bus, and has an onsite car park for candidates who drive. There is also a large car park nearby that is low cost and can be reimbursed in wages. This college is the vocational hub for the city and has a great reputation in the local area.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching Civil Engineering or other disciplines of Engineering
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
