Quality Inspector

Location: Redditch

Pay Rate: 40 per hour

This activity is inside IR35 (Umbrella Company Required)

Duration:

• 3 to 6 months

Frequency:

• Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, flexibility and additional hours may be requried.

Our customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings at their facility.

Job Description:

• Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM's.
• Visual inspection, with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
• Daily inspection of Forgings, checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
• Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience using dimentional inspection equipment
• Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
• Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings
• Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
• Prefer inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
• Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggit, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.
• Must be UK Citizen
