Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead our warehouse operations and ensure that our customers receive the highest quality service.

Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: 13.60 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly and Repair: Oversee the building of furniture items to order and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Order Preparation: Manage the packing and labelling of orders, ensuring they are ready for timely collection.

• Instruction Compliance: Follow written instructions and diagrams to maintain accuracy in the assembly and repair process.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to foster a team-oriented environment and enhance operational efficiency.

• General Duties: Perform general warehouse duties as required to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred, particularly in supervisory positions.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic hand tools is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages is required to facilitate effective communication and documentation.

• Forklift Licence: While a forklift licence is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement for this role but you must have FLT experience.
