Cover Supervisor KS3 to KS4

Salary: £94 £115 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as Cover Supervisors, overseeing classrooms and ensuring continuity in learning during teacher absences. This is a long-term role involving general cover across a variety of subjects, making it ideal for those with a keen interest in education and a desire to develop valuable classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students and maintaining a focused classroom atmosphere in the absence of the teacher.
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans and encouraging students to stay engaged with their work.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Implementing school behaviour policies and addressing any disruptions effectively.
• Supporting students as needed, fostering a sense of collaboration and respect.

What We re Looking For:

• While previous experience working with young people is beneficial, it is not essential we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies (training will be provided if needed).
• A proactive attitude towards professional development and a willingness to undertake additional training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in managing classroom dynamics and promoting positive behaviour.
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle a variety of classroom settings.
• A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to supporting student progress.
