Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Geography department in a thriving secondary school in Birmingham, starting after the April half term and continuing through to the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and make a meaningful impact on their academic journey in this subject, with the potential for a permanent contract at the end of the temporary placement.

As a Geography Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will help students develop their understanding of the world around them, exploring key geographical concepts, issues, and challenges. In this role, you will be part of a committed team that encourages collaboration and professional development while focusing on delivering an excellent education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach Geography to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring lessons are engaging, challenging, and relevant

* Inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for Geography and understand its real-world application

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their learning and academic growth

* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and develop the Geography curriculum

* Create a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment

* Support extracurricular activities and school events related to Geography

Key Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Strong degree in Geography or a related subject

* Knowledge and experience in teaching Geography at the secondary school level (desirable but not essential)

* Passionate about Geography and its importance in the curriculum

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

* A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
