Director of Public Health

£1000 per day

Inside IR35

3-6 months initially

South UK

Flexible hybrid working

As the Director of Public Health, you will lead the improvement of health and wellbeing for residents reducing inequalities and protecting local communities from health hazards.

About your role as a Director of Public Health

Management of the Public Health budget and grant funding, utilising resources imaginatively

Management of the Public Health team including Consultants

Influence change and enable a culture of continuous improvement

Partnership working with other Strategic Directors of Public Health in neighbouring Boroughs 

About you as an Assistant Director of Adult Social Care

Relevant experience within a similar position

Relevant Public Health qualification or registration such as UKPHR

Ability to balance strategic leadership and operational management

Experience of leading organisation change and transformation
