Senior Social Worker – Court Team (Children’s Services)

Location: Lambeth

Pay Rate: £29.10 per hour (PAYE)

Start Date: Immediate

Hybrid role, 2 days minimum in office.

Are you an experienced Children’s Services Social Worker with a strong background in court work? We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our clients dedicated Court Team, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a complex caseload of court-involved children and families.

* Prepare high-quality court reports and give evidence when required.

* Work closely with legal teams, guardians, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

* Conduct assessments, risk analysis, and permanency planning for children in care proceedings.

* Support and mentor junior social workers within the team.

Requirements:

* Social Work England registration (SWE)

* Minimum 3 years of post-qualifying experience in Children’s Services

* Strong court work experience (including giving evidence)

* Knowledge of child protection, care proceedings, and relevant legislation

* Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
