We are looking for a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join the existing team in Gloucester on an initial 12 month contract, 4 days in office and 1 day WFH.

To succeed within the role of an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll have experience in the following:

· Creates scripts from scratch

· De-bugs existing scripts

Linux

· Writes and de-bugs simple scripts to automate repetitive tasks

· Understands basic system administration commands used in operating system level de-bugging

Docker

· Understands how to write both Docker and Docker-compose files

· Understands strategies for de-bugging containerised processes

· Understands multi-stage image building and the use of base images

Kubernetes or OpenShift

· Understands secrets maps

· Understands vaults and when to use them

· Is able to read and interpret manifests

· Understands and navigates the OpenShift console in both developer and admin modes

SQL query writing and DBA

· As a DBA, can carry out administrative tasks, password resets etc.

· Understands strategies for db connections without exposing credentials

NOSQL - document based (Mongo, ElasticSearch etc)
