Graduate Teaching Assistant - Education and Training - Clacton-on-Sea

Have you recently graduated and are looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting?

Academics is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision.

This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about working with children with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), or complex learning disabilities. No prior experience is required-just a willingness to support and inspire young learners.

What the role involves:

Working closely with teachers to support an individual pupil's learning and development

Encouraging independence, confidence, and inclusion in the classroom

Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage in learning

Implementing interventions and strategies in collaboration with therapists

Providing consistent support throughout the school day, ensuring pupils feel safe and supportedAbout the position:

Location: SEND provision within a primary school

Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Duration: Long-term position with the potential to become permanent
