You will require an enhanced DBS; we can put you through this but it would be advantageous if you have your own

Working Hours

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, so we can also help you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. You will mainly work Monday - Friday during term time, with the flexibility to work 3 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability.

Due to location of the School, you will your own transport is advisable, however bus links do exist, however you must be able to demonstrate how you would get to the venue during interview.

Main Responsibilities

• Being polite, prompt, and friendly to all colleagues and guests.
• Communicating with the kitchen team and front-of-house colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of meals.
• Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are professionally cleaned before and after use, keeping all service areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Cleaning cooking utensils as required by the culinary team during preparation (mis-en-place) and service times.
• Cleaning kitchen work areas during and after use and disposing of kitchen waste to the appropriate area.
• Assisting with setting up and clearing down your area, preparing it for the next service.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with company policy.
• Complying with all company and unit policies regarding Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

You will be working on a variable hours contract, offering you flexibility while providing the stability of direct employment. Your hours may vary depending on the needs of the venues, with the potential to pick up extra shifts when available across our network. This contract offers you the opportunity to have a consistent role with the possibility of growth and long-term employment.
