I am delighted to be supporting a Not for Profit organisation in their search for a temporary Finance Officer to support with extra workload. This is a great opportunity for an allrounder transactional finance candidate who is available for an immediate start.

Client Details

This is a large organisation within the not-for-profit sector, recognised for its significant contribution to society. They are based in central Birmingham, easily accessible by public transport.

Description

• To ensure a timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers
• To ensure a timely and accurate recording of income
• To perform bank reconciliation
• Production of Management Reports for budget holders and providing analysis
• Support the year end audit
• Provide Management with ad-hoc reporting analysis as required
• Supporting staff and volunteers where necessary

Profile

A successful Finance Officer should have:

• A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Proficiency in using Unit 4 / Agresso financial software
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field
