Your new role

• Team Management: Lead and manage the IT team, ensuring effective collaboration, performance, and professional development.
• Transportation and Ticketing Systems Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and integration of transportation and ticketing systems to ensure seamless operations.
• System Integration: Coordinate the integration of various IT systems to enhance efficiency and data flow across the organization.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all IT systems comply with health and safety regulations related to public transport.
• Cyber Security Awareness: Monitor and address cyber security vulnerabilities, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on and ensure adherence to relevant public transport regulations and standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for transportation and ticketing systems.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects related to transportation and ticketing systems.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of IT services.

• Cyber Security: Awareness of cyber security vulnerabilities and experience in implementing measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with public transport regulations and standards, ensuring adherence and compliance.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to provide technical support for transportation and ticketing systems.
• Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of IT services.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a 6-month contract within IR35, working in the city centre and hybrid working opportunities. The day rate is competitive with current market standards.
