Job Description

Our client is seeking a Structures team leader on a contract basis. This role will see you acting as the lead expert for the strategic management of all highway structures and landslides.

• Leading strategic management of highway structures and landslides
• Developing and implementing strategic priorities for structural assets on highways
• Ensuring compliance with best practices, agreed specifications, standards, and asset management policies
• Providing effective leadership and direction across related fields
• Offering technical leadership to both internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinating with various teams to ensure strategic goals are met
• Monitoring and evaluating the condition of bridges and other highway structures
• Leading risk assessments and recommending mitigation strategies

• Significant experience in managing highway structures and landslides
• Expertise in bridge management and maintenance
• Strong understanding of best practices and standards in highway structure management
• Proven leadership and directional skills
• Excellent technical knowledge in structural asset management
• Ability to provide guidance and technical leadership to stakeholders
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field
