Welder/Fabricator

Location: Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds

Hours: 7:00am 16:00pm Monday-Friday

Salary: £17 per hour

Benefits: Health Cash Plan, Team days out, Christmas parties, 28 days holiday, Overtime available at 1.5x, Death in Service Cover

Are you skilled Welder looking to bring value to a leading Manufacturing business? This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic team, working on both standard and bespoke projects in a safety-focused environment.

Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 2 in Welding, Previous Manufacturing experience and an added benefit if it s from a concrete background, however if you are a confident welder I d like to hear from you.

Job Duties:

• MIG welding to a high standard
• Preparing products for galvanising
• Cut and fabricate steels accurately
• Quality checking all products
• Weld to technical drawings
• Assemble products
• Assist in other areas of the workshop department

What we are looking for:

• City and Guilds Level 2 qualification in Metal Inert Gas Welding or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Willingness to learn and take on board training when required
• Experience fabricating steelwork
• Strong verbal and written communications
• A good understanding of health and safety
• Good health due to heavy lifting
