Role Overview:
A joiner in modular construction is responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wooden components within modular buildings. This includes tasks such as fitting doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures, ensuring that all elements meet precise specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction and Assembly: Building and assembling structures like doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture within modular units.
Installation: Installing joinery components on-site, ensuring accurate fitting and alignment.
Use of Tools: Operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery pertinent to the trade.
Collaboration: Working closely with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and building codes to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
MUST HAVE CSCS CARD AND PPE
Experience: Proven background in joinery or carpentry, preferably within modular construction.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and plans.
Physical Fitness: Capability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting and manual labor.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in measurements and installations.
Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
