IMH Recruitment are looking for a reliable driver for our client based in Rotherham.

Job Overview:

To drive a 26 tonne refuse vehicle.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain and secure equipment, including service delivery vehicles such as lorry or similar, tools and heavy plant
• Ensure the security of vehicles, buildings and resources within own control, including carrying out vehicle checks
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring wherever possible a satisfactory outcome
• Report accident or damage to property, street defects, and assist on enviro-crime enforcement operations
• Supervise other operatives, trainees, seasonal employees or volunteers assisting
• Ensure the provision of monitoring or management information, including time sheets, near miss reports, safety observation systems and vehicle checks
• Ensure that the manager is made aware of any variations in schedules of work or work specifications such that they would affect service delivery
• Help to deliver and coordinate campaigns, events and initiatives

Requirements:

• Category C Licence with Driver CPC
• DBS (Preferred)
• Previous Experience in a driving role

Hours & Pay:

• Monday - Thursday, 7am - 3pm.
• 13.26 - 14.86 Per hour
• Please note this role is for holiday cover until April 2025
