Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher

EdEx are working with an excellent Secondary School in Hounslow, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, who are searching for a Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher to join their supportive and close-knit team of teachers and teaching assistants.

This Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher opportunity involves providing support to students 1:1 and in small groups, particularly those students with SEND/SEMH needs such as ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more. You will be tasked with assisting class teachers and students, helping out across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

• Working in a 'Good' Secondary School in the Borough of Hounslow
• Supporting students throughout KS3, KS4 and KS5 within
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students of different ages and abilities

Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher Person Specification

• A graduate with strong academics across the board, including a 2:1 or 1st class degree
• Previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages
• A passion for learning and making a positive difference from the 'get-go'
• An extensive understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
• The desire to pursue a Teaching career

• 105 - 110 per day
• Monday - Friday only
• Term-Time only
• Long-Term, Full-Time role
• Based in the Borough of Hounslow
• September start
