Secondary Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Bournemouth, working with children aged 11 to 18 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will be there to support students in their academic journey, helping them reach their full potential.

Location: Bournemouth (Dorset)
Contract Type: Full Time, Temp-Perm
Start Date: Immediate start
Hours: 08:30am - 15:15pm Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
Salary: 13.09 per hour

The role will consist of:

Providing tailored support with working with children and SEN
Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
Academic support 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting the teacher

The successful application will have:

Experience working with children who have SEN needs
Teaching Assistant qualification is ideal but not essential
Experience working with children aged 11-18
MUST BE AVAILABLE FULL TIME
