Remote Clinical Coder

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 Months (Full-Time)

Are you an experienced Clinical Coder looking for an exciting contract opportunity? Join a great team and help drive the accuracy and efficiency of clinical coding within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately code medical records and diagnoses using ICD-10, OPCS, and other relevant coding systems

Ensure compliance with coding standards and national guidelines

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve coding discrepancies

Support the production of accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical data for reports

Assist in audits and data analysis for quality improvement initiativesRequirements:

Must be ACC qualified

Able to code a range of district general hospital specialties (no obstetric or neonatal)

Strong knowledge of NHS clinical coding systems (ICD-10, OPCS, SNOMED, etc.)

Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
