Job Title: Integrated Project Planner
Location: Acton, London (3 days/week minimum)
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled Integrated Project Planner to join a complex and dynamic project environment.
The Programme is bolstering its team as production will speed up and there is a need for an integrated planner to be engaged at this point to ensure the overall programme is working optimally.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing integrated project schedules within challenging circumstances.? This role demands a blend of technical expertise, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrated Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and baseline integrated project schedules, incorporating dependencies and interdependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.? This includes further developing and maintaining project structures (WBS, potentially RBS/CBS in the future).
• Schedule Analysis & Reporting: Provide regular status updates, metrics (e.g., critical path, total float), and schedule analysis, highlighting potential impacts and proposing mitigation strategies.? Clearly communicate complex schedule information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Interdependency Management: Analyse complex relationships between projects and programmes, proactively identifying and managing dynamic interdependencies to minimise negative impacts and maximise positive synergies/opportunities.
• Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Develop multiple future scenarios to anticipate potential outcomes, create contingency plans, and identify risks from a planning perspective.? Propose alternative approaches to established plans when necessary.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively collaborate with diverse internal teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment.
• Planning Software Proficiency:? Utilise Primavera P6 and MSP, along with various reporting software, to manage schedules, track progress, and generate insightful reports.
Essential Criteria:
• Experience: Extensive experience in integrated planning within complex project environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of dependency and interdependency management.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of Primavera P6 and MSP, including schedule development, baseline management, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyse complex project relationships, identify potential risks and bottlenecks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to diverse audiences.
• Collaboration Skills: Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills at an operational level, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and propose improvements.
• Scenario Planning: Experience in developing and analysing multiple project scenarios to anticipate potential outcomes and create contingency plans.
• Availability: Must be available to work in Acton London for a minimum of 3 days per week.
