Location: Home-based, with expectation of travel within area, and nationally where required
Salary: £39,363.25 per annum

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Delivery Coordinator to join our Workforce Delivery Team. The Workforce Delivery team is a national team supporting improvement activity across several workforce topics through collaboration and innovation. These topics range from nursing, social work, commissioner workforce and individual employers through to delegated healthcare and the workforce supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability. These topics are not exhaustive and subject to change over time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading on specific elements of the teams work programme, working across several distinct work programmes planning their time according to delivery commitments and milestones. The role offers the opportunity to engage with a range of external partners and networks, including with people who draw on care and support. The Workforce Delivery Coordinator role is central to supporting the team’s busy work programme, working with National Leads and helping to direct the focus of Business Support Roles within the team to deliver ambitious outcomes within set timeframes.
We are looking for a person who:
Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to build effective working relationships.
Has the ability to lead on projects, using autonomy as appropriate to ensure that work is delivered on time.
Has the ability to work on their own initiative, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Has the ability to support people with lived experience of drawing on care and support, including autistic people and people with a learning disability, to engage meaningfully in activities.
