Job Advert: Live-In Carer for Elderly Lady (94)

Location: Petesfield

Position: Live-In Carer

Salary: £800PW

Contract Type: Full-time, Live-In

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carer for a lovely 94-year-old lady who requires assistance with daily living. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and have a passion for providing quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with mobility, ensuring safety and comfort around the home

* Prepare and cook home-cooked meals according to the lady’s preferences and dietary needs

* Provide companionship, engaging in conversation and activities to enhance emotional well-being

* Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

* Ensure the home is clean and tidy, including laundry and light housekeeping duties

* Administer medication and help with reminders, ensuring the lady’s health is monitored

* Offer emotional support and a caring presence throughout the day and night

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience as a carer or in a similar role preferred

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship

* A compassionate and patient nature

* Ability to prepare meals and assist with light household tasks

* Must be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

* A good sense of humor and an enthusiasm for making the lady’s days brighter

Additional Information:

* Live-in accommodation provided (private room and all necessary amenities)

* This is a full-time position with time off during the week, as agreed upon

* Competitive salary based on experience, with holiday entitlement
