Secondary Maths Teacher (Long-Term Contract) – Southend, Essex

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £220 - £270 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Southend, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and development in a long-term contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering engaging and high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

* Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for all students

* Assessing student progress and providing feedback to help them improve

* Supporting students with different learning needs and abilities

* Working closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

* Maintaining good classroom management and fostering a culture of respect and responsibility

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths

* Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting (desirable)

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A commitment to student development and achieving the best outcomes for all learners
