Job Title: RN Med/Surg Department: General Medical Surgical Unit, Cardiac, Pulmonology, GI, Urology, General Surgery, some Post Op, Stroke, Dementia, Infectious Disease Status: Full Time, 36 hrs. per week Shift: DayShift, (7am-7pm- self-scheduling with rotating weekends) Patient Ratio: 5:1 Job Details: As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families. As a Registered Nurse you are creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues. As an RN, will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly. Qualifications: Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing.
