Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Location: Waimea, HI Shift: Day/Night/Rotating Job Description: Prepares and performs ultrasound examinations on patients. Collaborates with physicians on examinations. Essential: walking, twisting body, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; reaching above and at shoulder level; repetitive arm/hand motions; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods; frequent gripping of an object. Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Must be able to adjust schedule for "on-call" coverage involving, but not limited to, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Qualifications: Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology or other approved program as determined by the department; or registered Radiologic Technologist with two (2) years supervised work/training in diagnostic ultrasound. • Registered or registry candidate by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography. • Registered by ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred. • Current BLS/HCP certification.
