Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Temple, TX 76508 Duration: 52 Weeks Shift: Night, 12 Hours Job Description: • Performs and directs the administration of respiratory care services (including but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry), in partnership with attending physician and care team. Care is administered in a quality manner of excellence that is in accordance with established procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations. • Adheres to established policies including but not limited to infection control and isolation policies, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media. • Performs willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain the very best work environment and outcomes. • Embraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills such that professional and technical requirements are accomplished. • Focuses on continuous quality improvement in all of the aspects of clinical care, identifying, executing, and sharing opportunities to improve patient care. Qualifications - EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification - EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer. • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). • Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.
