Early Years Practitioner - Under 3's Provision

📍 Location: Primary School, Islington

💰 Pay Rate: £105-£125 per day (PAYE)

🕙 Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

📆 Full-time | Monday to Friday | Long-term role

📅 Start Date: Immediate

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Islington that is looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and engaging early years setting, supporting children in their first steps of learning and development.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work within the Under 3's Provision, providing essential care and learning support to children aged 6 months to 4 years. This role primarily involves working in the baby and toddler room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where young children can thrive.

Additionally, there may be occasions when you are required to cover in Reception and Key Stage 1, supporting early childhood education across different age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for babies and young children

✔️ Support early childhood development through engaging play-based activities

✔️ Assist with feeding, changing, and nap routines, ensuring children's comfort and well-being

✔️ Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development in line with the EYFS curriculum

✔️ Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to maintain a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

✔️ Occasionally support Reception and KS1 classes when required

What We're Looking For:

✅ A CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)

✅ Experience working with babies and young children (6 months - 4 years)

✅ A passion for early childhood education and development

✅ Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

✅ A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young children

✅ Availability to commit to a long-term, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM)
