Pay Rate: 28.26 per hour (Umbrella)

Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Start Date: 24th March 2025

End Date: 23rd April 2025

Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:30

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our team at Holmes Road Depot, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of building repairs, maintenance, renewals, and replacements across various trade disciplines. This role will primarily focus on day-to-day plumbing tasks, but it will also require skills in other trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across occupied and void housing properties, as well as other Council-owned premises.
• Work on a range of trade disciplines including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, electrical (Part P), tiling, painting & decorating, and gas safe works.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with current regulations and best practices.
• Handle a variety of refurbishment and occupational therapy adaptations, delivering quality results within agreed timescales.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Competent to a professional standard in a minimum of four trade disciplines: Plumbing, Carpentry, Plastering, Electrical (Part P), Tiling, Painting & Decorating, Gas Safe.
• Previous experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.

Additional Information:

• This is a temporary role for a fixed term period, with potential for extension.
• Candidates must be available to start on the 24th of March 2025 and commit to working until the 23rd of April 2025.
