Salary: £110-£120 per day, Term time only (9am-5pm)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Caretaker with general all round maintenance skills, and a "can do" attitude. The ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking. We are looking for a School Caretaker who is a hands on, responsible and safety conscious person and can be self-motivated and resourceful.

Our partnering Secondary school in Braintree, are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work as a School Caretaker. The school is looking for a School Caretaker who is hands-on, responsible and safety conscious and can be self-motivated

The desired School Caretaker must have previous school experience as a Caretaker, Site Manager or Groundsman and must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities of a School Caretaker:

• Ensure the cleaning (internal and external) in the school is performed efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
• To be responsible for carrying out security procedures for buildings, facilities and grounds including security patrols and inspections.
• Monitor and manage stock (e.g. bulbs, cleaning / hygiene materials) within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and undertaking audits as required.
• Management and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds; providing a safe and secure working environment.
