Nursery Assistants Required in Littlehampton!

Are you passionate about working with young children? We are currently seeking Nursery Assistants for both ad hoc flexible work and longer-term positions at a well-established nursery and pre-school in Littlehampton.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children's learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily routines and activities.
• Help children build social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Maintain a clean and organised space.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in childcare or a passion for working with young children.
• A caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Level 2 or 3 in childcare (desirable but not essential).
• DBS checked (or willingness to apply for one).

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• GCSE's or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year working with children
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
