Job Title: Mechanical Rolling Stock Technician

Job Location: Ireland (Portlaoise)

Shifts: 5 on 5 off (days, nights and weekends)

Hourly Rate: £50 Umbrella (plus expenses)

Hours Per Week: 37 on Average

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Start Date: ASAP

Global leader within the Rolling Stock rail industry

Position Summary:

* Engine maintenance on Rolling Stock

* Fuel changes

* Diagnostic work and engine fitting

* General maintenance

* They will be fixing MTU powerpacks

* Working within a team completing overhauls

* Routine maintenance

* Working to written work instructions and to safety critical standards

Person Profile:

* Rolling Stock experience is a must

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

* Heavy engineering background is essential
