Job Advert: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Packaging Environment)

Contract Position - Covering Maternity Leave

Location: Norwich

Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00

Hourly Rate: £35 per hour

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team within a fast-paced packaging environment on a contract basis, covering maternity leave. This is your chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment while ensuring the continued efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance across packaging machinery and related systems.

Identify and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

Collaborate with other team members to implement operational improvements.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Strong electrical and mechanical skills, ideally in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Able to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities.

Health and safety focused with a strong understanding of industry standards.

Availability to work weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00.What We Offer:
