Cedar Recruitment are currently supporting a Public Sector Client with the Recruitment of an experienced Accountant across Children's Services finance team.

The position is offering £400 per day Inside IR35 and will be an initial 3 month contract. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis.

The role is to support the service transformation to ensure that the organisations overspend is managed and mitigated, whilst supporting the successful delivery of the saving programme.

You will play an active role in budget monitoring helping to add value throughout the process, including having the ability to explain the financials in simple terms amongst financial analysis.

Essential Experience

Experience with Children's Services specifically CSC placements is essential

Experience of working within a similar role is essential

Line management experience would also be desirable, as this role is to manage two Assistants
